| Inaugural CHINA GEO-TECH 2006 |
 |
CHINA GEO-TECH 2006 was presented by 107 companies from ten countries, with industry leaders such as Laurel, Thermo Electron Corp and Leica Microsystems Ltd.Organizer, China Geological Survey along with its subordinate units, and China Geo-Equipment Corporation also participated.

End-users and experts visited CHINA GEO-TECH, mostly from provincial bureaus of geological and mining works, and their subordinate geological survey teams, geological survey institute, and geological engineering companies. These visitors came from 34 provinces, covering major mining destinations such as Xin Jiang, Anhui, Shanxi, Guizhou, Gansu, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, and Hubei. International practitioners also attended to learn the latest of China.

| 2006 China (Shanghai) International Forum On Geological Science & Technology |
The 2006 China (Shanghai) International Forum On Geological Science & Technology was hosted by China Geological Survey (CGS), Shanghai Association for Science and Technology (SAST), and ChineseAcademy of Engineering-Division of Energy and Mining Engineering, was held to coincide the exhibition. The Director-General of China Geological Survey, Mr.Meng Xianlai and ChineseAcademy of Engineering academician, Mr.Chen Yuchuan both delivered reports at the forum. Twenty-one experts from all over the world gave reports on conferences discussing the latest development in four discipline areas. |
